One of very few castle ruins in Austria to be open in winter, it is only a short bus journey from the centre of Graz. The hike is pretty steep, but not too long. The ruin itself is small but cosy...

Urban view from the cliff to the huge auto bahn, good view from the top, but nothing very special.

It’s a nice view, but you have to wait for a guided tour to get in, and it’s very annoying that there are three old cars driving up and down the mountain for people to see the ruins, as they pollute the air and make it hard for people to hike in peace.
