    A litlle pond with cristall-clear water of intensice green and blue colors, with trunks in it. Relaxing, refreshing stop on your hike along the valley.

    The Meerauge is a beautiful pond between the mountains. Its water is very clear and blue. The pond is located between woods and fields. There is a small wooden way around the pond. We were greeted by a cute cool (stray) cat, which chilled on the walkway. There were some little stones with drawings on them, we found one minion and one snail, maybe there are more hidden. The place has its own small parking lot.

    This beautiful little pond located in the Austrian Alps, close to the Slovenian border is worth a visit. There is free parking about 100 meters from the pond. Then there is a boardwalk to the pond. The colors are beautiful, especially in early Spring with snow still in the mountains. Highly recommend.
