Probably my favourite of the Sydney museum, gallery experiences. The tour of the 5 boats included for $25 was great and gives you a fantastic live overview of the history of naval ships in Australia. The inside exhibitions were a little lacking by comparison (really feels like a complement to the ship tours) but what was there was fantastic too. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition was unexpected and delightful.

Great experiences for adults and kids. I've visited twice for the Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition (always great), but there's so much more to 'sea' ;) The warships, especially the submarine are a full-on experience, as is the Endeavour replica! Let's you feel as if you were at sea. And then there's much more history and marine science throughout permanent and temporary exhibitions that you don't see how 3-4h fly by! Will surely return for the wildlife photos exposition next year!
