It was adventurous to visit it during the mega creatures event. Although I think the tickets were priced a bit high but it was a good time with kids and family. Could have been better if they could have dedicated bigger spaces to these giants and let them roamed so that some real feeling could have come out of it when kids saw them. The kids were able to find a lot of creatures which weren't even on their guided map.

Take into consideration before coming here that there is lots of walking. Bug spray and suncream, comfortable shoes (and potentially pants for people that suffer chafe) are a must. The gardens are beautifully kept, the flowers and hedges are healthy. The storybook section is enjoyed all ages. And the Christmas lights of a nighttime are spectacular. They set up the Christmas lights earlier than December, so if you want to go there only for the daytime walk amongst the flowers and gardens, I highly recommend you check the time of year or ring them and ask when in the year to avoid the displays because it takes away from the experience of the florals.
