    You can drive all the way to the dam and park your car and walk across. There are toilets and bbq facilities here. I saw two roos nearby.

    Serene and calm. Beautiful scenery especially due to the hilly terrain. We stayed on the tar road so it was rather easy walking. Not sure about off the beaten tracks. Rest areas along the way with...

    Good brisk walk around the area. Can scoot or bike ride on the bitumen road. There is a lookout called rotary Lookout which overlooks the dam from the hillside.

    This is just the place for bush walkers or bike riders, really long trails or really really long trails, especially soon with all the wild flowers coming out. You can also come across the old shale quarry which is really interesting. Do yourself a favour & go check out this beautiful part of our State.
