Warner Bros. Movie World
Hollywood's gotten a few silver-screen stars, such as Russell Crowe, from the Land Down Under. It makes sense then that the world's movie capital would have an Australian outpost. Standing as the country's only movie-related theme park, Warner Bros. Movie World provides movie-themed roller coasters, motion simulators, and river cruises. You can snap photos with celluloid heroes who roam the park, including Batman, Austin Powers, and Marilyn Monroe. The park even houses movie studios responsible for bringing Scooby Doo, Peter Pan, and other films to the big screen. Take a look at our Gold Coast trip planner to schedule your visit to Warner Bros. Movie World and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Go for the actors in character. The shops and food options are really good. We spent a lot of time exploring them all. I can’t remember the last time I saw a loaded potato shop, so that was a nice...

It hurts to write this given as a kid I grew up absolutely loving Movieworld. Family holidays were based around a trip to Movieworld. I even worked at Movieworld in the 90’s that’s how much I loved...

What a wonderful way to be able to relive childhood memories. From purchasing the tickets to the rides and exciting the park was just an easy and amazing day. The rides were amazing being able to use virtual queue, the stunt show and parade where definite highlights. It was just a shame that 2 of the main rides were closed and the whole Wild West section wasn’t open. It would of been nice to have been told this on time of buying the tickets and maybe reflected in the price. But definitely a great day out for the whole family. Ever minute of the day there is something to be seen so keep your eyes pealed.

Been before but this visit was absolutely amazing. Went with a group of friends on a kinda rainy day for my birthday a few weeks ago and it was perfect. Almost all rides were operating, staff were all lovely and great at their jobs, especially the younger girl at the DC store. Guest services were amazing when we asked what to do with a sensory impacted guest. Lines were short due to weather so staff had a bit more time to relax, seemed really happy. Lady at the entrance gave me a birthday sticker and the Joker was humorous. We got there really early and greeter was very sweet and chatty, was a blast. Coming back in a bit!
