If you want immerse yourself in part of Australia’s history then I would highly recommend visiting Old Melbourne Gaol. It is a place that sends shivers down your spine, inspires awe and dread and you can feel the history, you can hear the past occupants and I don’t know about you but I got the feeling of many eyes watching me as I read about the history on plaques on the walls of the cells. It’s a harrowing and yet great experience.

Very interesting to say the least! It felt eerie from the first moment we walked in, seeing the death masks and real stories of inmates who inhabited the cells made the experience one to remember.
