Horseback Winery Tours, Main Ridge

Best horseback riding tour I've ever done. I was given Tank, their largest horse, because of my size, but don't let his gigantic hooves fool you, he's only a big softy. The group was separated into two, beginners and experienced. I've never seen this done before, but I really did appreciate it since the experienced group had fun trotting and cantering between vineyards. I definitely recommend it.

On a road trip between Sydney and Melbourne this was one of the milestone events we'll never forget. The wine tasting was only so-so, but really it was all about the horse riding which was just fantastic! It was geared up for the beginner with most people having never ridden a horse, and the staff riders kept everyone in control of their horses while at the same time keeping the friendly conversations going. Everyone involved was thoroughly professional and capable, making the experience an absolute joy. The countryside was beautiful and the whole trip simply wonderful.
