One of my favourite things to do in Hobart and gives a true sense of the culture here. Fabulous food, friendly people, live music. Buy the crumpets.

Every time I'm in Hobart I make a point of going here. It's a great spot to grab some delicious food and have a stroll. It'd be better if it was open to dogs too. My leashed dogs are better behaved than plenty of the hipster's children there.

Its a small market but it’s worth your time even if you are a tourist Most of the stalls are for local fresh produces which will suit if you are intending to cook at home. But there are still stalls that serves cooked on the spot food and it’s really good! Ample parking nearby with public toilets nearby too. Especially good if you buy and eat the food at the common seating area. Its such a cosy market.
