Convent Gallery, Daylesford

Absolutely stunning & lovely place. Friendly customer service and picturesque views. Lots of great art and at the heart of Daylesford culture. The grounds here are absolutely breathtaking. Perfect place to take the friends & family for a lovely breakfast/lunch/dinner or to take your book/laptop and spend some time enjoying the great coffee and the art. We spoke to the owner for the first time as and she is extremely friendly and just lovely to speak to. Was initially unsure about this place, but upon entry my uncertainty was all gone! It's absolutely gorgeous inside, and the vibes and atmosphere of this place is really awesome! My partner and some friends of mine started off with a meal here, and it was fantastic! I ordered a pie with cheese, pumpkin and some relish and it was amazing! The flavours went so well together and the serving size was just enough! The crust of the pie was also great too! I also ordered a French earl grey tea, and it was immaculate! Loved the taste of it, I don't know what it was about it, but it just tasted so good! My friends were all satisfied with their meals too, all coming in at the same time! The chips were great, super generous serving and very tasty! We then went to the gallery portion of this place and it was so pretty! Gorgeous views and some really beautiful art, probably one of the first galleries I've been to where I would actually consider purchasing some of the pieces! Entrance is normally $10, but due to a particular incident that day, entrance was free! The gardens are also really nice, the view from there is simply beautiful! I can't recommend this place enough! Definitely stop by if you have an opportunity to!
