Olives Reserve, Como

My dogs likes this park. It appears some of the local drug dealers use this location (watch cars coming and going from carpark for no reason). They leave the people and children alone but would prefer the police chased them out.

Quaint, tranquil park in Como with good access to the Swan River cycle/pedestrian pathways via a freeway overpass. The park is definitely for little ones (standard sized playground in the middle of the park) and dogs (neighbours the 'Olives Dog Park'), but definitely a great place to park your car and go for a walk, jog, run or cycle, around the area. I usually just go here to eat my sandwich from the nearby cafe, 'Moco151', whilst I reminisce and reflect on life (hmmm..., this is a good sandwich. Or something like that haha). Interesting fact: The Perth Zoo comes to Olives Reserve to trim and collect gum leaves for the Koalas at the Zoo. Who would have thought?! Shame they don't bring the Koalas with them on an excursion to Olives Reserve. Would have made for a very entertaining, live feeding, free show! Fingers crossed in any case 🤞😁
