Freycinet National Park
Blessed with secluded bays, clean white-sand beaches, and bird-filled wetlands, Freycinet National Park offers a range of outdoor activities for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. The park's natural assets include the much-photographed Wineglass Bay and the imposing pink granite peaks of the Hazards Range that dominate the Peninsula. There are many ways to experience the park's scenic landscapes--from short walks and long treks to half-day cruises and camping. The pristine waters of the Tasmanian Sea abound with marine life, which makes kayaking, diving, and snorkeling especially appealing. Going there each time I am in Tasmania: this place is magic with so many walks to discover and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. The mountains are so majestic, can't stop taking photos. There are easy walks which will appeal to anyone who hates walking to more difficult walks which will challenge those adventurous walkers. Highly recommend this National park

Magnificent national park! Huge mountains by the sea, great trails, lighthouses, beaches, vehicle and car access plus camping spots. The bathrooms were great. Some of the hikes like wine glass bay had a huge payoff. My favourite was the lighthouse, walk, seeing the seals play and all the sea birds and penguins on the nugget islands. Listening to yellow tail cockatoos fly past and eating delicious seafood from the Freycinet bay paired with local wines. Magnificent place to indulge and enjoy.
