An amazing collection of plants, many that we had never seen before. The trails through the gardens are well marked, and children enjoyed following the way markers.

Lovely place to commute with nature. Well maintained walking paths, vegetables, fruit trees and pavilion over looking the lake. Great display of desert succulents. Planetarium to look at the stars and a cafe to satisfy one's appetite. Highly recommended family outing and it's all free.

Love visiting this place, so peaceful and great to bring kids to the playground. Lots of friendly wildlife such as bearded water dragons and native birds. There's lots of walking paths and a bike path that runs along the river. There's a cafe located inside the gardens and lots of water fountains. It's an easy place to get to by public transport as it's near QUT and is great to have a picnic at or to sit and enjoy your lunch in your break. Please do keep any pets on leashes though to protect the wildlife that live there.
