At Ballarat Wildlife Park, roam 15 hectares (37 acres) of natural bushland and hand-feed free-roaming kangaroos. Pet koalas and wombats and touch snakes, lizards, and a giant tortoise. Over 400 animal species call the park home, many of which you can learn about through guided tours and keeper-led shows. The entry fee includes a quick guided tour and the afternoon's interactive animal shows. You can enjoy additional animal experiences, such as having your photo taken with a koala, for an extra fee. If you visit in cooler weather, warm up by the cafe's fire. To visit Ballarat Wildlife Park on your trip to Ballarat, use our Ballarat trip builder site.

What a fantastic park. Not overly priced and full to the brim with interesting fun animals. The variety of animals is fabulous many we hadn't seen outside of 'zoos'. Great way to spend an afternoon...

The most amazing wildlife park we have ever been to. So clean, tidy, well maintained, excellent friendly and lovely staff. All happy gorgeous animals that you can tell are well cared for and loved. Seriously excellent little park. We spent hours there just wandering around and it made our holiday 10/10 thanks again everyone there! Will be back with bells on every time we visit Ballarat!

I could not speak highly enough about all facets throughout this conservation park! From the beginning to the end, you will be amazed and highly appreciative of the well kept enclosures that house some of the most exotic creatures the world has laid home to! The Park Rangers put together great shows throughout the day and are happy to educate and spend time with you so do not hesitate to ask questions wherever they may arise! The cafe has an absolute mouth watering selection of food and drink! (Sausage Rolls are my personal favourite) We visited on an overcast day with slight rain, it was not an issue being able to navigate around this and stay dry whilst enjoying the parks offerings. Highly recommended establishment!
