  • Beautiful gardens even in winter. Lots of areas to explore. Would be stunning in Spring and autumn. Its easy to get to and there is plenty of parking nearby.

  • Visited during the begonia festival and it was lovely. Brilliant colours, the grass was lush, a pleasure to walk around.

  • Beautiful winter stroll through the park. Memorised our prime ministers in order, rudely reminded of PM I tried to forget. Lovely marble statues dotted around the place. Deciduous trees and tall pines are a stand out. A lovely detour from the around the lake walk. Don’t forget to visit Pipers for a coffee. You deserve it.
  • Well laid out, but lake side can get blustery when winds are blowing. Playgrounds are good though needs updating, and the wildlife is great especially when the adult swans have their cygnets following them around. The busts of past Australian PMs is still intriguing. Just need to time your visits when the flowers are blooming. When the Begonias are flowering is the best time, but during the festival it can be quite busy during peak visiting times. The toilets are standard for public toilets but it does the job.
