Walk from the Adelaide city center to discover the urban oasis that is the Adelaide Botanic Garden. Once here, visit the Palm House, a Victorian glasshouse containing Malagasy arid plant life. Enter the fragrant National Rose Trial Garden to see the different rose varieties that can grow in the local climate. Stand in the curvilinear-glass Bicentennial Conservatory and observe a delicate ecosystem including noisy pittas birds, spiders, and centipedes. Make sure you also stop by First Creek Wetland, a relatively recent addition, where you can learn about the importance of wetlands to urban environments. • Nice place to walk around and view the gardens. Conservatory was good. Everything growing very well. Number of sculptures to view around gardens. Worth a look around for sure.

  • Although it was pouring when we visited, the garden was still a lovely place to visit. Lots to see and very pleased with the catus and succulent garden.

  • Haven't visited there for many years. Went with daughter and young grandchildren, and had a wonderful day. Will return asap to spend more time. Coffee, cake and ice cream s were good too☺️ Thank you for a beautiful place.
  • Love going to the Botanic gardens, really nice place to go and walk to the various sections of the gardens at your own pace. There is also a plant shop and 2 cafes where you can sit and relax. A great place to take children as there are several large grass areas where they can play and still be supervised. We recently took both of our grand daughters and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring the rose garden and smelling the flowers as well as wondering around the walking paths. It inspired them to pick leaves and flowers from our garden and the local park so that they could use them in some artwork. They want to go again and explore another area of the titanic park.
