Also know as the Pink House, this government building house is the President's workplace. If you see there's a second Argentinian flag pulled up, means he is in the office today! He apparently lives 16 km away in a home, typically transported via helicopter. Interesting facts here about the Pink House include: 1. It was built in 3 periods, from left-to-right, that's why the measurements aren't all symmetrical 2. The right side of the building has been removed to make way for the scenic view of the river a while back 3. The pink color was in fashion back then if they wanted to stand out from the white buildings. White buildings often have a limestone wash. To make it pink, they would mix that with cow blood from nearby farms. Today that wouldn't fly because the vegans and vegetarians would probably protest 😂 so it's just normal paint today!
