Streaks of red and white sand dunes fall across orange limestone cliffs into the water of Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien), offering a fabulous spectacle at Mui Ne Beach, some 18 km (11.2 mi) from Phan Tiet. Set against clear blue skies, the hill above the stream lined with cocoa palm trees provides magical scenery well deserving of its name. Dip your feet in the red-colored sand, but beware of sharp rocks underneath. Alternatively, you can climb to the top of the cliff to observe the panorama. Providing great photo opportunities, the visit makes a nice walking detour from the beach, and can also be accessed by jeep. If you continue, you'll find a waterfall at the end of the creek, and you'll probably meet some cows along the way.     Walk bare foot or with waterproof shoes. The most beautiful part is the colorful sand walls and vegetation around the creek. It's really not a waterfall, but fun visting anyway.  more »

    Such an interesting place. Was a very enjoyable barefoot walk in the stream. Mud was super soft to touch and there was no rubbish etc in the stream. There are deep holes though that are like quicksand and as water is opaque it's kinda scary (but fun at the same time!). I almost fell over 3 times and there were ppl who fell in.

    Short trail hike with a cool stream water down your feet. Sweet street vendors and 2 restaurants selling a bunch of food. Cool places to stop and take pics. Overall fun experience for family and friends. Definitely bring water proof everything. Small children can go as well. Don't expect a long trail maybe 30-45 mins total there and back. Lil waterfall at the end makes it worth it!
