  • Spectacular scenic beauty, especially if you take the walk all the way out to the point, which is the easternmost in Vietnam. Getting to the lighthouse is about a kilometer of fairly gradual uphill on an excellent stone-paved trail. Just the first little bit is slightly steep, but I didn't get winded at all, and the younger kids and old folks had no trouble making it up. It was a cool overcast and windy day, so I imagine the climb may seem more strenuous on a hot day. Once at the lighthouse, the trail down to the point is just a little further, but a bit steep, so careful of your step. The steep cliffs are well guarded with railings, but still be wary, especially with kids. From the bottom of the trail, there's a little branch trail to the left as you're heading back up, that connects back to the main trail and avoids the steep climb back to the lighthouse. It's narrower and a bit more rugged, but you won't have any trouble by comparison if you've made it down from the lighthouse. There wasn't much offered in the way of services, other than a small gift shop and a place selling drinks. But I was there in the rainy season, so imagine there may be more offerings during the peak season.
  • The hike to the hill is not long, but tiring under the sun. The top of the lighthouse has good views. The beach below is nice for kids to play with water and sand. The beach is not crowded, and swimming is not allowed. Worth spending a few hours there.
