Known for its inner walls depicting the life of the Buddha, Xá Lợi Pagoda once served as the center of the opposition to the Diem government. In 1963, the sanctuary was ransacked and all of its 400 nuns and monks were placed under arrest. When you come here you will attend the cultivation course including kowtow the Buddha, Read the tenet and learn to practice meditation. Some monk from Phat Quang Pagoda (Ba Ria Vung Tau province) will guide you how to practice meditation as the Buddha time.
