Visiting Chua Vinh Nghiem offers you a pleasant, relaxed time in one of the most famous temples of the country, memorable for its grand design and numerous decorations. As you approach, the tower which is 40 m (130 ft) tall will surely draw your attention immediately. Inside, right behind the entrance, you’ll see three huge statues of Buddha, and towards the other end, you can see the traditional metal gong. Outside, there’s a miniature of the temple, with a little pond with tiny fish. There’s also a small restaurant and a shop on site.     This is the oldest Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city, I think so. Really busy in the first day and 15st day of Lunar Calendar (all Vietnamese use Lunar Calendar). We visited it in another day, so not busy...  more »
