Formerly an archeological research facility during the occupation, the museum today contains around 200,000 artifacts arranged in five major sections. The building itself represents an attraction: designed by French architect Ernest Hebrard, it displays an Indochine architectural style blending French colonial and Vietnamese traditional architecture.     This museum cost 40,000 VND, so less than $2. I was very impressed with the collection because some of the artifacts are over 1000 years old. One should not miss the three-faced Buddha or the fine...  more »

    Very old museum. I don't recommend it. Visit only if you have a lot of time to explore the rest of the city.  more »

    Very big. It has two big building so check the opening hour. Closing hour and lunch time if you want to see it all. I do not recommend the audio guide because it is really sleepy.. But good exhibition. If i visit here again, then i think i need a guide to understand history of vietnam well.
