Take the longest single-cable car ride in the world to reach a replica of a French castle at Ba Na Hills SunWorld, a hill station and a theme park resort in the Annamite Range. Originally founded in 1919 by French colonists, the hill station turned resort now offers a number of theme parks, ranging from a fantasy dino-park area to a provincial European village. An impressive 27 m (88.5 ft) tall white statue of a Shakyamuni Buddha sits perched on the top, overlooking thick jungle and silky waterfalls. You can watch 5D movies, choose an international restaurant, or play numerous interactive family or individual games. The 15-minute cable ride totaling 5,801 m (19,032 ft) in length provides fantastic scenery. The gondola ride up to the top was beautiful with views of the canopy of the forest and bubbling stream through the thick fog. What's at the top of the hill where the gondola lets you off, is just... more »
It's off-peak season, so its.. Great: You can have the whole park to yourselves for your whimsical photoshoots. Many didn't like the fog, but we embraced it for the enhanced European feels. Staff... more »
To be honest, this place is quite a surprise. A part the fact that they cut down all the top of the mountain to create this park, the park itself is quite impressive. It's big, a lot of thing to do for any ages, the view and the bridge on sunny day are spectacular. The park (and french village) is very well done, with the same level of details in the architecture as a Disneyland would be. Inside the attractions and scenery are Al free (the ticket is 750 000vnd) and there is really a lot of things to do. On a side note, would have been great if it was possible to hike on top of the village, but you can't you must use the cable (which is really long). Also, do not go up if it's not a clear day, you miss half of the stuff (panorama, sunset and some activities might be closed)
Enjoyed my time here with my girlfriend. It was a bit foggy when we arrive and got even foggier as we’re about to leave. It was also very cold so better wear some thick clothes if you’re visiting during cold season. The french village was very beautiful and Instagram-worthy, felt like I was in a different country. There are a lot of restaurants around representing different cuisines. We ate at the Little Tokyo (Japanese and Korean BBQ buffet) as it was part of our voucher. The food was decent. There are also a lot of entertainment in there from arcades to rides. Definitely a place to visit. We reached the place around 11am and we didn’t have enough time to explore and try everything there when we left around 5pm+. We’ll definitely come back again!
