A trail that follows the curve of Santa Monica Bay's shore, 26-Mile Bike Path surges with cyclists and rollerbladers throughout the year. The trail runs from Santa Monica Pier to Venice Beach, with bike and rollerblade rentals on either end. You'll share the road with motorists on portions of the path, so ride or skate carefully, and wear a helmet. Consider bringing a bottle of water, sunscreen, and a hat.
