An active naval aircraft carrier for nearly 50 years, USS Midway Museum now displays 29 restored planes and 60 interactive exhibits. You can see what the brig, engine room, pilots' ready rooms, and the crew's sleeping quarters looked like when the country's longest-serving carrier was on active duty. Explore the upper deck's bridge and the war room, or descend to the flight deck to discover the history behind some of the country's renowned military aircraft. Try out the flight simulators, or take a narrated audio tour. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. The Guides were super nice! My family and I spent good 4 hours in there! My most favorite thing was the “Simulator”. You can feel like you are actually on the airplane. It was really fun! :) especially when the workers are super friendly and awesome! I am so thankful for going to USS Midway Museum!

A must see attraction in San Diego! The USS Midway Museum is a fantastic piece of Naval history and insight. So much important history and access to all different parts and areas of the ship. There are great military veterans all over to help and guide all the guests to offer some useful information. All employees really know the history and are so nice. Parking is available right in front of the Museum which is very convenient.
