Great place to stop for a walk while traveling I5. Access on/off freeway is pretty easy and the trails are paved with interesting sights along and over the Sacramento river.
This is my favorite place in Redding to visit on a nice day. The gardens, flowers and trees are really beautiful as are the sculptures and the fountains. There are some very informative plaques placed around that give helpful background stories about what you are viewing. I am mobility impaired and use an electric scooter to get around. I had no problem using it on the paths here.
