Aulii Luau reviews

Luau at the Sheraton in Poipu. The location was very scenic, right on the beach with fantastic views of the sunset. This was our first luau, so nothing to compare it to. Check in could probably be expedited somehow...it took a long time. Once seated, we were invited to grab appetizers and drinks. We enjoyed the savory foods served for dinner, lots of options and variety, good quality. Plentiful, especially given the large crowd. The drinks cannot have been that strong as my husband and I are lightweights and didn't feel any impact. When dessert came out, people lined up without too much order. The dessert table was wiped out in less than 10 minutes and the staff did not restock it. We're not big dessert people, but this could be a downside for many. The show was beautiful with engaged dancers and performers. I only wish the band had been featured more prominently.
Dinner, drinks, and entertainment with a view of the beach. The food was good (not excellent) but the program was very fun. It was a classic Hawaiian luau and if you're in Hawaii, it's one of those things you've just got to do!
