  • Several of us rode motorcycles herr yesterday. Beautiful views and large parking areas. Blind turns, so watch your speed. Gift shop at the top is worth checking out.  more »
  • With some great outlooks like the Blue Ridge outlook or trails around Black Rock lake, this is a great place to hike and family friendly. Relatively easy parking. Bring $5 for state parking fees.  more »

  • Sorry we drove by this park dozens of times before finally visiting. It was sensational. Georgia's highest State Park peaks at 3,600+ feet. Great vistas and wild flowers and easy in and out access. Just park sure you understand the trail signs and what kind of hike you want.
  • Amazing state park with lots of great hiking and beautiful views. Highest elevation state park in Georgia. Campground that will accommodate smaller travel trailers, pop-ups and smaller RVs. I pulled my 24 footer up to the park with my Tacoma. Stayed in site 36, was a bit cozy with the sites next to me, but still nice.
