    This is a beautiful park. We picnicked there under large trees and then took a hike. Most of the trail was shaded as far as we took it.  more »

    I use to live at the foot of the trail in the house on poles. This was before the SM conservancy purchased it from the Presbyterian synod. It was a truly amazing experience living there, but I cannot begin to tell you how many hikers I had to ask to leave my front porch. I really didn't mind. I actually had hikers come inside to use the restroom. This was my home! Lol its hilarious now, not so much then.
