The "Friends of Ashley Pond Park" are a loose affiliation of people who take great pride in this treasure of Los Alamos New Mexico. Downtown Los Alamos is located where it is because of this wonderful geographic feature. It is our signature downtown park. We wish to maintain and protect this joyous green grass and water jewel. Those guys at the concerts with the masks are a funny and cool part of it, but the last concert I saw them get harassed but were doing nothing wrong. Kids loved it and I've heard people wanting to know where to get them. Plus its inspiring people to buy from the little local stand that sells light up stuff.

Great Friday night music on the green! Many, many people attended. Acoustics were excellent. Quite a variety of food vendors as well as a beer garden. That said, on any day of the week, Ashley Pond is a safe and beautiful place to stroll, enjoy a book by the water, or have a picnic. Clean, basic restrooms. Peace!
