Kahekili Beach Park, Lahaina

I can't get over how perfect this beach is!! Such easy parking as there is a dedicated parking lot for this beach park. It's nested in the back of a couple hotels. This is one of the best beaches we've been to and we've been to a lot! (Been to a few in Oahu, also Thailand and Vietnam so we know a good beach when we see one) It didnt get crazy crowded but there's a fair amount. NOW LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE WATERS HERE It's the most crystal clear blue water...as if it's pool water. I'm in the water up to my neck and I can still look down and see the sand and my legs - it really is that clear and beautiful. It's the perfect temperature water to beat the hot and humid Maui weather. My bf and I waddled in the waters for 2 hours and didn't even want to leave. Even though it was quite windy when we were swimming, there were no waves. Baby beach still had small waves, but this beach? Seriously no waves. You can just chill in the waters for forever!

Gorgeous beach and great snorkeling site with calm waters in the mornings to early afternoon. There's a decent amount of shade, ample parking, a grassy area to sit on, and a covered patio for picnics and bbqs. I went to a snorkeling tour the day before and the sheer number of fishes paled in comparison to what we found at this beach. There were even turtles and barracudas along the corals here. Do yourself a favor by renting some snorkeling gear and going here instead of the high priced snorkel tours if you want to save some money!
