Hoʻopiʻi Falls are a series of waterfalls along the Kapaʻa Stream, located near the Kapaʻa town on the east shore of Kauai, Hawaii. The falls were used as a filming location in Jurassic Park (1993) for the fictional site of the "Mano de Dios Amber Mine" in the Dominican Republic.

  • Easy hike and falls that you can get close to and feel the spray. A bit challenging to get to the main rock area next to the falls but worth it.  more »

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Met awesome locals that showed up where we could jump from the waterfall and swim in the deep water. Fun and exhilarating while peaceful and relaxing
  • More difficult than I thought it would be but I made it. People not in shape, beware! The waterfalls are so worth it!
