Set within the Great Smoky Mountains, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is a one-way drivable trail that grants great views of the mountain park as well as the famous Roaring Fork waterfall. The waterfall gets its name from the loud roar that echoes between the mountains after a large amount of rainfall. If you want to stretch your legs and get away from the car, you will find an abundance of trails for all abilities throughout the park.     While closed for the winter season, the path is still quite walkable and that made it very enjoyable. Plenty of parking at the "trailhead" and the walk in the woods was fantastic. Very few people.....  more »
