LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Windsor

We went to Legoland as a treat for the kids as they had worked really hard at school and got great feedback from their teachers. We where advised a Wednesday is the quietest day of the week by an ex member of Merlin staff so a Wednesday it was. Considering this was a quite day there was a lot of people there. The cost of the whole day is not cheap however if like us you take plenty of food and drink the cost is only getting in and gifts for the kids. I suffer from mobility issues and was saddened to see I would have to pay on top of my ticket to get a scooter. I could however get a wheelchair but this meant I or the wife pushed me most of the day. This gets very exhausting after sometime. If I went again I would reluctantly spend the extra on a electric scooter. All in all the staff where great with me being in a chair and helped as much as possible. this made the day a lot less stressful for me. The park is well spread out but there is plenty of places to stop and rest if you need to. Everywhere in the park is Wheelchair accessible so I was able to go to the same areas as my kids which is not always the case. In all we had a great day at the park and would defiantly recommend going if you have not.

Really fun day out. We were able to get discounted prices, which gave good value for money. As other reviewers have said, the park could improve their food. Honestly, the low-substance food is fine for a fun day out; however, when people choose to stay overnight, the park starts to exist in same competitive space as the likes of Disney. Between Disney and Legoland, Disney wins out. That said, my family loved our overnight adventure. Staying in the castle hotel made the trip for us. The hotel theming in our premium room was fantastic. We loved the rides, too. My four year old begged to ride the Ninja ride over and over. I recommend Legoland for a day trip with an overnight stay! We will probably come back one day.
