Monkey World, Wareham

Amazing place perfect for adults and children to visit and enjoy. Monkey World is a place for rescued and adopted monkeys from all around the world and offers them living space and large enclosures to enjoy and play in. This is a large place with a lot of viewing places to watch the monkeys in their habits. There are also a number of information boards throughout the site which offer very useful information and there are talks during the day. The site is well kept and the staff are helpful and friendly. A gift shop offers some good things and there is a Cafe for food and drinks. I can highly recommend visiting here, an absolute delight, will be returning again once open.

A sanctuary for mistreated primates of this size with a myriad of apes and monkeys all living happily with others of their kind, what could be better. Such sad lives turned around to a world of space, natural surroundings and no fears, experiments or bad conditions with ample space between the paths and the enclosures made us lucky to walk around such an amazing place. Sure the chimpanzees weren't 247 like on the telly but this place was amazing, a great day.
