Clouds Hill is an isolated cottage near Wareham in the county of Dorset in South West England. It is the former home of T. E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia") and is owned by the National Trust. The site is in the parish of Turners Puddle in Purbeck District.

    You can spend a couple of hours here if you walk the grounds to the viewpoint. Very interesting to hear about the life and death of Lawrence of Arabia. Staff are welcoming and have interesting knowledge themselves. Help yourself to a hot drink like we did on a rainy day.

    This location is almost certain to be on every NT members bucket list. the volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and will answer questions in as much depth as chooses you. The down side is the car park is quite small and the location not open every day. Most visitors try to make a point of visiting again and again, such is the draw of the mans private 'bolt hole' His grave is about three miles from this location, and the location of the fatal accident about half a mile away.
