Come to Westonbirt Arboretum for its internationally renowned collection of trees. The venue has labeled nearly 15,000 individual trees covering some 3,000 types. Walk along a self-guided trail to see species such as maple, magnolia, white beam, and oak. Keep an eye out for rare varieties such as the Brazilian pine, dawn redwood, and Patagonian cypress. The 240 hectares (600 acres) of land host various types of birds, so bring your binoculars if you enjoy bird-watching. You can visit the arboretum any time of year: colorful flowers and blossoms show themselves in spring, leaves are most plentiful in summer, a kaleidoscope of colors comes out in autumn, and conifers stand out in winter. If you have difficulty exploring the venue on foot, inquire about borrowing one of the available electric scooters. • I would give Westonbirt 6 stars if I could. It was a truly memorable day and the kids loved it. The grounds are massive and there is so much to see and do. It's very peaceful and quiet even when it's busy, you can find a remote spot. We could easily come back again many times and still not see everything there is to see. Highest possible recommendation!
  • Ideal place to see so many different trees. A warm autumn day is the best time to visit. The colours of the tress in this place are just so beautiful. There are some trees whose leaves are yellow at this time of year and some are different shades of red. There are also plenty of facilities here, food places and toilets. All working normally.
