I live just below the Mount and it is on my usual route to the town centre. I always enjoy this little piece of the countryside and sometimes walk to the top for the views. more »

This is a lovely quiet green space in the middle of the town. The mount itself, the remains of the moat, the view at the top and the quiet. All worth the short walk. more »

Interesting geographical feature. Great views. Beautiful plant life. Well maintained. Only needs a short visit.

Great for a quick stop. With easy access from local car park. This mount has become a oasis for nature. With views of the surrounding areas it's worth taking the walk to the top. The circular walk around the mount is a pleasure too. No facilities here though.
