    Great space to visit a friend's art exhibition! 2 big rooms to fill. He had over 100 paintings up! Definitely return to see another exhibition here  more »

    You are in Margate to visit the Turner and afterwards take a stroll around the old town.If so, go and see the Lombard Street gallery. If your artistic temperament has been engaged by the Turner and appetite whetted, you should go to the Lombard to find a piece of art. This is an excellent art gallery and craft shop well set up and managed. They have regular shows by specific artists and group shows on particular themes like prints.The gallery is also full with ceramics, cards, and art craft inspired gifts. The gallery is light and beautifully kept. Visit them next time you come to Margate.
