Marvel at lifelike wax figures of the world's most famous actors and actresses, athletes, entertainers, and politicians at Madame Tussauds London. This is the original site of the museum that's become a franchise in nine other cities around the globe. Wax sculptor Marie Tussaud established the museum in 1884, and today it houses over 300 figures. The figures on display change frequently to keep up with the times, but you can expect to find sculptures of famous people from both the past and present. After viewing the exhibits, sit for a 4-D movie on a 360-degree screen, and then enter the Scream! house of horrors. Purchase your tickets online before you visit to reduce both the price of admission and your wait to enter. Not the same as it used to be. Seems to be missing a lot of the classic figures - perhaps for refurbishment, I’m not sure. But hard to walk around with the two metre rule but what can you... more »

Kids friendly environment. Staff members were very helpful. Statues were really good. Fun options for children. Don't miss the photo from the entrance. Very interesting and lots of themed areas. Some of the waxworks are a bit lacking but most are very realistic. They have wheelchair access for the different levels. Lots of photo ops with some more interactive stuff.

THE Madame Tussauds is absolutely worth everything that you might have heard about it. Not overrated at all, if you are a first time visitor. RECOMMENDED: Do not miss out the following sections - Musical legends, History of UK and Avengers amongst all. The entrance is lined up like a ballroom of sorts with a host of celebrity wax statues. As you go deeper into the building, there are various sections. The Avengers section is a special highlight along with a 3D movie in the section. The official store also boasts of some amazing collectibles.
