A fabulous and educational day out. I last visited in 1994, not long after the bunker was opened to the public. A wonderful insight into the operations carried out during the war and the Liverpool Blitz. Well worth a visit.

This is a place well worth seeking out. Easy to find once you know it exists it will appeal to those that know and appreciate the importance of the Battle of the Atlantic. It’s in the original location which makes it more effective and although ageing, as everything does, it gives an excellent appreciation of what it must have been like to undertake such a critical part of WW2.
