  • This 300 year old church is absolutely beautiful. Some of the grave stones have bullet marks on it which is interesting because I think they were prisoners I might be wrong.

  • The minister is a great peacher. We were warmly welcomed by several people. The 9-person choir is quite good but only sang a brief introit.
  • Inverness is very unique like some other towns and cities in Scotland to have free standing building from the Victorian age. The Old High Church represents hundreds of religion and community togetherness that unfortunately has now been lost is some way, however the history remains just as the building does, for tourists this is one of the many amazing buildings in the city centre to explore and revel in, not many cities in the world posses buildings as old as this and that in itself is incredible, I must be honest I'm not religious in any way but I find it amazing that this building would of been designed and originally built in the Victorian era. It's a testament to Scottish hard work and also a testament to the Inverness local council to hold onto their heritage rather than demolishing and starting again like so many other cities around the world. This building is a prime example that "new" and "modern" is not always best.
