  • A lovely village church.
  • Had a fun started at the church, saw the Vicar and went up to say Hi and make sure everything’s good to go ahead and shoot. First thing she says is “You know the rules, Right !” .......... erm, .... “no flash?” Turns out I’m only allowed to shoot while the Bride is coming down the isle, exchange of the rings, first kiss, mock signing of the register and as they leave. Ok, so not too bad, so waits at the end of the isle, down comes the Vic and plants herself directly in front of me, quickly move to get the Bride, and once she’s down with her room, the Vic instantly turns around and tells me to go and sit ! So I take a sat in the back and wait, up comes the exchange of rings and the second I take a photo she stops the whole service, tells me I’m too distracting (by the way, Behind her, hiding behind framework out of sight) and demands I sit. So I miss the exchange of rings, first kiss and pretty much the whole ceremony. She even stops the ceremony to tell guests to put their iPhones away, though at one point someone phone rings and everyone laughs ......... BUT because people laugh a little too long for her she tells everyone to be quiet ! I’m luckily enough to be allowed to take photos of the signing of the register. Never have I met a vicar so rude, unprofessional and ruin moments a Bride would have love to have seen in photos !
