    We sailed along from Gloucester docks to Sal Junction on our cruise. What a lovely canal, we saw lots of birds including quite a few kingfishers. So picturesque countryside. It was a wonderful...  more »

    Really disappointed. Set off from Gloucester. So much building work going on can't reach canal until you've covered some distance on the noisy road. Gave up in the end. Rubbish  more »

    Nice area. Not so good for boating due to all the restrictions and closures.

    Lovely in all weathers. Very popular with runners and dog walkers and there are always people to stop and chat to. Lots of access points so you can walk for as long or as little as you like.
