Flyup 417 Bike Park, Gloucester

Thank you so much to Oscar for an brilliant two hour coaching session. The session was pitched perfectly with lots of helpful tips for improving our technique, as well as plenty of praise and encouragement. The park staff (and users) were all very welcoming. We love the facilities including pump track, downhill trails and cafe. We will be returning very soon; at least we now have a chance of keeping up with our seven year old. This place is excellent. I have been about 5 times either on my own or with friends. This time I took my 11 year old son and hired a very good full suspension bike for him from Leisure Lakes Bikes based there (£20 for 4 hours). We had a blast and all the staff are so polite and helpful. The cafe is great, serves GF burgers and allows dogs inside, so there really isn't any excuse not to go. There are trails to suit all abilities and you don't need to go right to the top to enjoy them, you can walk up to a point that suits you and carefully join the trail (something that was encouraged by the staff to build confidence before paying for the uplift) All in all, this is somewhere I will always recommend.
