Visit a herd of 50 free-range reindeer at , located in the Cairngorm mountains. Join a daily tour from the Reindeer House to go on a hill walk in search of the herd. Feed and pet reindeer--if you can find them--under the supervision of a trained reindeer herder. Stroke a reindeer's soft velvety nose, and be charmed by its friendly nature. In addition to the daily tour, you can book a half-day reindeer trek across the lower slopes of the Cairngorms, where you can lead and feed your own reindeer.     Great day out! The guide was very knowledgable and able to answer lots of questions. It was lovely being so close to the reindeer. Something different to do if near Aviemore. Would recommend.  more »

    An amazing and emotional experience up on the mountain with the herd. You get to hand feed around 30 reindeer whilst having talks from knowledgeable keepers and guides. Terrain is manageable by old and young alike who are fit and healthy. In readily soft to the touch and gentle creatures. Trip lasts around an hour and a half.

    Great centre with the friendliest staff. Well kept and lots of interaction for the children. Unfortunately we missed the hike to the herd but found enough to do in the stables to keep us entertained, they also gave us a 12 month voucher to knock off the stable entry price off a future hike.
