  The Eton Museum of Antiquities is housed in a gorgeous new building that is as special as the Museum. The Jafar Gallery has some exquisite artifacts and includes activities for children to help them.....  more »

  Pour commencer cette journée à Eton j’ai raté un train ! Mais les transports en commun en Angleterre fonctionnent beaucoup mieux qu’en France .Beaucoup de gens sur les quais le dimanche prêts à renseigner l’égare ou l’étourdi ! Il y a là un petite salle confidentielle consacrée aux objets collectés par le colonel Myers ancien élève d’Eton . Son regard aiguisé a choisi de magnifiques pièces en Égypte. Par contre je voulais voir une porteuse d’offrandes en robe blanche qui figurait dans un catalogue d’exposition.Mais elle n’était pas là !Sans doute dans les réserves.

  To start this day in Eton I missed a train! But public transport in England works much better than in France. Many people on the docks on Sundays ready to inform the stray or the stunned! There is a small confidential room dedicated to the objects collected by Colonel Myers former student of Eton . His sharp eyes chose beautiful pieces in Egypt. On the other hand, I wanted to see an offering bearer in a white dress that was in an exhibition catalogue. But she wasn't there! Probably on reserves.
