  Great woods, pathways always clear. Solid paths around the lakes. Good place for all the family and the dog!

  Absolutely gorgeous park, with lots of variety in a small space. Open field, wildflower meadow, several lakes, stream, ancient woodland and superb old trees. Good path network means its great if you can't walk far or need wheels to get around and the natural variety makes for a real child's playground. Their Wild Wednesday events each school holiday are free admission and they have various volunteer groups and organised activities like a Forest School. Yet, you can find a peaceful seclusion if you want it. The only improvement would be new toilets and perhaps a cafe! One of my life long favourite haunts.
