Boer War Memorial commemorates regulars and volunteers who gave their lives in the South African War. Surrounded by flower beds, the brass statue on a marble-white plinth represents a soldier leaning on a rifle. The front side of the plinth is inscribed with names of fallen soldiers, while the sides bare the names of those who served in the war. Boer War Memorial reviews

Almost human and so exquisitely sculptured. Superb and shouldn’t be missed. Quite moving in itself. Peaceful more »
Many names from the two World Wars, as well as a few from other conflicts. Also a stone to acknowledge Polish losses.
Large memorial to the fallen in several campaigns, including Polish soldiers.
