    Well worth a visit. This unique chapel is almost lostbin amongst the shops. Opposite the council house, it has beaten the drive to lose all our past.  more »

    At the bottom of Park St in the area of College Green you can easily miss St Mark's th Lord Mayors Chapel with its marvellous wooden exterior door and carved walls, wasn't possible to inside but it...  more »

    Interesting historical site. A lot of the fixtures and fittings from its 800+ year history are still in place. The footprint of the chapel shows how its built into the hill that the cathedral, and the choir school were built on and all the wine cellars (such as Harvey's) were built into. I found the people looking after the chapel knew a lot of the interesting development of the docks in the centre ( many of which have been filled in ).
